Total Bracelets Sold

Gratitude is an emotion; expressing appreciation for what one has. Here at Morgan Rhea we thrive upon giving back to the community and showing gratitude in a silent way.

Our Gratitude page is driven by the support of others. Monthly, a new campaign is formed. A bracelet is designed and handmade, then put into our gratitude section of the website. These bracelets are sold for a limited time, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to the campaign cause. Each bracelet campaign will have a saying or quote that is important and relates to the reason for the campaign.

WV Flood Victims

We have teamed up with the American Red Cross WV Region for our Gratitude Campaign this month. We are bringing back our “The Sun doesn’t always shine in (outline of WV) but the people always do” with “West Virginia Strong” on the inside to help our fellow West Virginians in the Northern Counties who were affected by the recent floods.

Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association

Our goal at KCHA is not simply to save every adoptable and treatable animal that enters our facility. It’s to ensure each and every animal in Kanawha County is safe and loved.  As little as five years ago, KCHA admitted 10,000 animals per year – 40% of whom were surrendered by families that felt they’d run out of options. In 2016, through our efforts to keep pets with the families that love them, we reduced that number to just 5%! Our pet retention program provides resources to pet owners in need, including supplies, training tips, behavior advice, and low-cost spay/neuter.

KCHA is committed to saving the lives of animals through sheltering, adoption, foster care, spay and neuter programs, cruelty prevention, and community outreach. Guided by compassion, KCHA will become a leader in progressive animal sheltering, eliminating unwarranted euthanasia, and create a community that celebrates the human-animal bond.

March of Dimes

With your support, we are helping babies fight for their life.  March of Dimes and Morgan Rhea, are teaming up to spread awareness of premature birth. With 1 in 10 babies born prematurely in the United States, this mission is extremely important.  Babies born too soon can face serious health problems, and some won’t survive.  With your support, you’re helping fund research and programs that give more babies a chance for the strongest start possible.

Morgan Rhea is giving a portion of the proceeds from this campaign to the March of Dimes so they can continue their fight against premature birth.  Through their perseverance, they are able to develop solutions like Surfactant, which is used to help strengthen the lungs of preterm babies and give them the best fighting chance available. Every baby deserves a fighting chance.  We ask that you help be that chance, and help support the cause by wearing your bracelet proudly.

WV Flood Victims

Please join Morgan Rhea in supporting the victims of this past weeks flood disaster. This is only a small way for us to give back to our beautiful state and community. We have chosen the great words spoken on June 20th, 1963 celebrating the 100th birthday of West Virginia, by John F. Kennedy.

There is no truer statement as we have seen the love and hope for our fellow West Virginians through this time of heartache…. Stay Strong.

Morgan Rhea Leather Bracelet

The Children of Mbelebeline

We are partnering with Samantha Snodgrass and Poca High School to make a difference for the children of Mbelebeline by filling their library with books! Morgan Rhea is honored to participate in this global outreach project to improve literacy at the Florence Catholic Primary School in the Manzini region of Swaziland, where the village of Mbelebeline is located. They currently do not have access to books. A lot of these children are orphaned, abandoned and at risk due to extreme poverty and the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

With your support in purchasing the Ubuntu bracelet, the lives of these children will forever be enriched. A large portion of these students are orphaned and vulnerable, with many of them living on their own and raising their siblings. Your purchase will truly impact their lives by improving their English literacy and giving them hope for a life of significance.
