Gratitude Campaign Canvas Tote for Beth
At a very young age Beth was diagnosed with a very rare lung condition. Throughout her life, she was able to manage it well. In 2017, however, her lung function started to decline more rapidly. Beth was then listed for a double lung transplant. In April of 2020, Beth finally received a new pair of lungs! After months of recovery, she was able to do so many things she had never been able to: including riding bikes with her 5 year old twins! Then, in July she was able to marry the love of her life and things were looking up. Sadly, not long after, Beth found out that her body had begun to reject her new lungs. After months of fighting, unfortunately, Beth is now in need of a second double lung transplant. With COVID still running rampant, this has been very difficult on the family. Beth has not been able to see her kids or her husband. Her mother has stepped aside from her own career to be in Pittsburgh with Beth during this difficult time. Against all odds, Beth has remained strong and optimistic. Staring a daunting challenge in the face, Beth continues to fight and inspire all who know her.
Patch Quote: Yes, she's beautiful. But never forget she's a beautiful survivor.
