The Thomas Foundation was founded in 1989 to support Herbert J. Thomas Jr., Memorial Hospital, and later Saint Francis Hospital, previously known as Thomas Health. Now known as WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals, we are working to expand clinical programs and services and enhance the overall health of our community.
Donations, gifts, grants, sponsorships, and endowments to the Thomas Foundation serve to provide valued resources that support Thomas Hospitals’ mission to deliver compassionate and exceptional healthcare to improve the well-being of the communities we serve.
All monies raised by the Thomas Foundation remain in our local community.
